Poor Molly sits at our house with once again no new wig. I have one that we love that is the wrong size. No problem, just order the right size right? Well, if it was only that easy. See we ordered the right size, it came. The bangs are cut wrong - all three rows cut exactly the same length rather than cut so when they are laying down they are the same length - picture a really bad haircut here! So I call, send the bad one back they promise to send a new one. The new one comes, still wrong! So I am sending that one back. They go through the stock and find they are all wrong....so now I am waiting to hear an estimated date for when a new shipment from the manufacturer comes in. So hopefully dear Molly will get her new hairdoo! She is so sad!

Do you know the name and maker of the wig.
Perhaps you can pick it up at one of the online vendors and just ask for a refund.

Here are the major wig sites

    http://www.kemperdolls.com
    http://www.monique.com
    http://www.globaldolls.com

    Goood luck

Actually I am trying to get the wig from one of the 'major' wig companies. I got the incorrect sized one from a semi-local shop, but it would have been a long drive to get the correct size one and they didn't have it in stock anyway. So I called the wig company direct. It is the company stock that is all bad....they are checking with the manufacturer. Hopefully this won't take too long to solve.

I would like to buy the AGoT with hazel eyes and replace her hair with a dark brown pageboy with bangs, maybe just shoulder length when curled under -- shorter than the normal Girl of Today. Can anyone suggest a source for this wig and how to find it? I got frustrated just using the search engine on Kemper!

    Bonnie,

I am having a terrible time accessing certain websites today, but I do know that http://www.monique.com/ has a wig they say looks like the typical American Girl wig if you go on the American Girl sections of their site. If this is a different company than you are doing business with, maybe you could cancel the order with the other company and order this instead.

If you can't find it, are interested, and I can get on their site later on, I'll look for you. Just let me know.
